Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is set to present the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the state’s House of Assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024.

The announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by Olamide Tiamiyu, Chief Press Secretary to House Speaker Adewale Egbedun, in Osogbo.

The statement described the budget presentation as a key step for Osun’s fiscal future. It also noted that the governor’s intention to unveil the budget was formally communicated in a letter to the Speaker.

“This presentation aligns with constitutional requirements, ensuring the draft budget is submitted for legislative scrutiny and approval,” the statement read.

The proposed budget follows a series of Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum meetings held across the state, where input from residents helped shape the budgetary process.
